How To Refund Items

If you want extra currency you can always refund items from your inventory. The items you don't need anymore or gift items from your neighbors that you think useless to your Restaurant.

Stuffs refunded is on one-third basis of its original or standard price. If you want to sell back items to store just go to your storage and hold the item and drag it to cashier machine icon to the top left or after the icon of chairs and tables.

After dragging the item to cashier machine icon you will now go to screen like this (image above) you need to choose your final decision, Check button for accept, X button for cancel.

Item Storage

Item Storage or Inventory, all stuffs purchased will automatically go here. Just click the decorations button and click the brown box or crate logo in the store menu area. This section also separate into category exactly what's at the shop. As the image above you can see the number of items you own in each stuffs.

Buying Decorations for your Restaurant

To buy decorations for your Restaurant just click the carpenter tool or the hammer on the image below. You can see this at bottom left of your game screen. This is contain of three selections Game Inventory, Currency Shop, or to buy items in Store.

The Restaurant City Shop
To design your Restaurant, you can buy here various items with your standard game coins and some items is for Playfish Cash.

A, B and C is for doors, tables and chairs.
D.Window Decorations
Where you can buy wallpaper, windows, candle lights, arts, and more various items can post in walls.
E.Various Decorations
You will find various and random items in this option such as space dividers, flowers with various colors to design your restaurant.
F.Tiles
After buying tiles you need to drag it to the ground of your Restaurant, when done your game currency will automatically decrease of how much is the flooring you choose.
G. is for wallpapers, H. for Functional, I. Outside decorations only, J. Stoves, K. Claim Awards.

Game Money / Coins & Playfish Cash

The two types of currency in Restaurant City is cash and coins. Game coins are money you can gain by serving dishes to your customer, and if you meet certain restaurant levels, go to your friends restaurant, and by refunding items, and also by shaking trees. The next one is Playfish Cash, This money can give your restaurant deluxe, cool stuffs, exclusive items, animated features etc.. You can also use this to gift your friends and in Ingredients trading for your restaurant. You will see your current currency in the top left corner of the game screen.

How to add more Game Currency

If you want to add additional game currency in your restaurant, just click the currency links next on your current money on the top left corner of your game screen. And if you want to add game coins just click the add coins yellow bar. Choose your preferred billing processor or payment options from the menu. You can choose your credit card, credits of your facebook account, pay by SMS via mobile phone or via Paypal. Or take the game survey which pays you game currency "Trial Pay". And if you want to add Playfish Cash just click the add PF cash blue bar, this is located below your current game currency or top left corner of your game screen. This will take you to the menu of your payment options. Like in adding game coins you can choose your preferred billing processor or payment options from the menu. You can choose your credit card, credits of your facebook account, pay by SMS via mobile phone or via Paypal. And you can also use the Trial Pay, above mentioned to gain PF Cash.

Food Quiz

You can find food quiz inside your message box or mailbox on daily basis. The questions have ten seconds timer to answer and three answers choices, all quiz are related to food. Remember when the timer begins you have ten seconds to choose your best answer.

If your answer is incorrect of course you cannot receive your free ingredients but this can cost you nothing in your cash or coins. You can take again food quiz in another day, note that the questions are changing each day (random).

Newsletter
You will automatically receive restaurant city newsletter weekly. Known as The Restaurant City Time, all restaurant city players will automatically receive this to remind them the game updates, cool new stuffs, features.

Free Ingredients

You will be awarded a bonus ingredient for your restaurant in each day you logged in the game.
Continuously logging in each day on the game will increase the chance of having a maximum 3 ingedients per day. This is a efficient way to level up your dishes so make sure you play the game at least once each day. Once you miss at least one log in a day the count of free ingredient will reset to one per day.

A.Restaurant City Controls
Here are the game options such as sound volume, save, modify the game quality, full screen or window mode. If the button turns red that means it's activated.

B. Coins and Cash
You will see here how much cash and coins you have in the game, you can also add coins and cash by purchasing it, if you want just click the links.

C.Gourmet Points Bar / Expirience Bar
This bar indicates the gourmet points have been earn in the whole game.

D.Restaurant Popularity / Rating
This is the popularity rating of your restaurant. The top rating possible is fifty-one. If a visitor is entertained it will gives you increase .01 in rating and if not it will decrease .01.

E.Gift Icon
Just click on the free gift if you want to send one to your friend, the maximum is 20 friends in each day or twenty-four hours.

F.Gourmet Street
This option will take you across the street, where you will see your friends restaurant in front view.

G.Decorations
In this option you can buy cool stuffs for your restaurant, build your restaurant with gorgious designs beat your friends restaurant.

H.Dish Menu
Just click the icon if you want to go in your restaurant dish menu.

I.Marketplace
In this section you can buy ingredients to level up your dishes. The market is also accessible outside of your restaurant, top-right of your restaurant.

J.Messages / Mail
Here you will receive the messages to your restaurant, maybe from your friends trading ingridients, restaurant city news, etc.

K.Blue Folder
In this option you can change the appearance/clothing of your main character, also change your restaurant sound, game awards.

L.Camera
Just click this if you want to get full screen image of your restaurant for your facebook photos, myspace, twitter etc.

M.Modify Restaurant View
Here you can change your restaurant view, zoom in / zoom out.

Restaurant City Tips

When you start playing, save your coin for ingredients so you can upgrade your Restaurant City recipes. Higher level recipes can get more gourmet points (leveling bar or experience bar).

You can’t get more coin per dish, but you can serve many dishes and easier and faster.And keep on your restaurant design to do this.

Good looking furniture can help you get your restaurant rated easier, but normally it does not affect how your Restaurant City is popularity on the game.

Every day you can take the food quiz and get a free ingredient. These are updated daily at night GMT, that is 8 pm eastern standard time.

Ingredient prices at the shop vary each day, an ingridient less than three thousand dollars is considered a nice deal.

A nice restaurant city hint is that ingredients offered at the market are changing, so make sure to buy on the ones you need when you have the opportunity.

Create friends in the game, and go to their restaurant one at a time to claim bonus ingredient by goin to their restaurants.

Dress your workers up in uniforms so that it's not hard to remember who and how many employees are cooks, waiters, and janitors.

1.Keep your workers full of stamina.

2.Send gifts to your neighbors to gain 5 extra gourmet points.
(most Restaurant Citynians don't know this)

3.Turn the game quality low.

4.Don't block the door, just leave your restaurant open. Even you are
not playing your restaurant will remain open and continue in gaining gourmet points.

5.The greater the level of your dishes the more gourmet points you gain.

6.Buying deluxe stoves or chairs, table won't affect your serving and cooking speed.

7.Clicking trees and trash gives you coins.

Effective Layouts that gives more benifit
Dont set your stoves far to your tables, look at the image below: waiters don't need to walk far to serve dishes.

8.Buy some entertainment stuffs like arcade machines, chairs because customers will leave immidiately if the chairs or tables aren't available.

9.Place the chairs far to your restaurant main door. This will give time for waiters to clean the dishes in tables.

Make coins in shaking Trees

You can make coins in Restaurant City by shaking trees. Instead of using tools or programs that can harm you in the game, If i were you just enjoy the game play fair and square. Just click any of the tree to shake it. Look outside of your restaurant there are few trees over there.

If you click the tree it will move left and right. It is in random sequence if it will drop coins. Go to all sides of screen to see more trees with different designs. You can also shake trees in your friends restaurant, as long there are trees there.

First, all you need to do is design your restaurant. And consider where will you place the free items for beginners, includes: the cheapest stove, three tables and chairs. Manage this given items to start your Restaurant City Life. When you earn more coins and point to the higher levels, start designing your restaurant with cool stuffs like elegant decorations, deluxe chairs and tables, doors, walls, fireplaces, garden. You can even design outside of your restaurant, roofs, walls, doors. Apply your best strategy to earn lot more coins.

Dress your Character up
After getting started to your restaurant, You will go to "customize screen" of your character where you can change the appearance of your avatar like changing avatar facial expressions, clothes, color of skin and hair color.
